1. Introduction

An introduction to flying - In this session we go through all the basics to get you off the ground, in the air, making simple turns, ascents, descents and if you feel ready, basic use of the Camera and Video functions on the craft.

2. Safety
Location: Mendip Hills, Somerset
Time: 1 Hour

In this session we cover all the Safety procedures that we go through and those authorised by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) who govern our airspace to get you flying safely and within the law at all times.

3. Basic Flying
Location: Mendip Hills, Somerset
Time: 1 Hour

This session is all about the basics. Slow moves and slow capture, to slowly build your technique and confidence up with the craft and all the basic functions, features and workings.

4. Basic Flying (Part 2)
Location: Mendip Hills, Somerset
Time: 1 Hour

A little faster, a few more basic skills, led by our guidance, this session finishes with a 20 minute window to practice and develop all that you've learnt so far.

7. Advanced Flying (Part 3)

Time: 1 Hour

The final installment of three. We now feel confident you'll have enough skills and adaptations under your belt to be able to carry out more advanced manoeuvres, so this session sees us put all of this in to practice at an inspired location.

10. Aerial Videography

This session focuses on many integral aspects of Videography. From pre-planning and inspiration to capture, essentials on any project that requires Aerial Video.

5. Advanced Flying

You're now flying comfortably with all the basics, so it's time to step it up with more advanced manoeuvres requiring movement of the craft, camera and gimbal simultaneously in a smooth motion.

8. Features Explained
Location: Inspired
Time: 1 Hour

In this session we focus on all the features to get the most out of the craft, such as the camera's PRO settings, AEB, Hyperlapse, quickshots etc. At our inspired location, you'll have the opportunity to learn and really get to grips with these features.

11. Aerial Cinematography

At this stage we are confident you will have all the skills and knowledge to not only deeply appreciate, but also perform aerial maneuvers comfortably. Now we teach you how to 'add the sauce'.

6. Advanced Flying (Part 2)

The second session of the three sees us focus more on these advanced manoeuvres. Developing the confidence and skills required, with our guidance, to learn them inside out.

9. Aerial Photography

This session focuses on all the tips, tricks and industry standards when it comes to aerial photographic capture. Pre-setup of the camera, angles and more. At our inspired location you'll have a chance to really explore these skills and get some fabulous shots.

12. Editing and Workflow
Location: Mendip Hills, Somerset
Time: 1 Hour

In our final session together, we give you a first hand look at how we edit all of the content - From cropping, effects, transitions, music choice, colour grading and more...

* Please note: A Drone will be provided by us for all training purposes, alternatively you may bring your own as long as your drone is manufactured by DJI post 2023 and you are registered with the CAA and have all the necessary permissions.
